Paul DeFiglia, Parker James, and Anson Hohne met while performing at a free jazz concert series in Nashville in 2022 and quickly became fast friends and musical collaborators. They formed a vibraphone trio and play regularly around Nashville including at the Frist Museum, Hutton Hotel, Random Sample, Urban Cowboy, and Vinyl Tap.

Paul DeFiglia is a bassist, keyboardist, producer, and audio engineer with a recording studio based in East Nashville, TN. He studied classical bass at the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts and jazz at New York University. His recording and performing credits include Irma Thomas, The Avett Brothers, Little Freddie King, Langhorne Slim, Elan Mehler and more.

Parker James is a multi-faceted percussionist, freelance vibraphonist and composer based in Nashville, TN. He holds a masters degree in music from University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a sought after performer and session musician who is at home playing across a spectrum of genres and styles from orchestral and chamber music to jazz and indie rock.

Anson Hohne is a drummer, percussionist, and composer in Nashville, TN. He studied jazz drum set at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He performs regularly with jazz players and songwriters in Nashville and leads his own project, contemporary jazz ensemble The Look Aways.

After first concentrating heavily on the Jobim songbook they have since expanded their repertoire to include many lesser known composers such as Sam Rivers, Alice Coltrane, Pat Metheny, and Dorothy Ashby. They also improvise on more modern tunes from Radiohead to Frank Kimbrough, as well as their own original compositions and arrangements.

As a trio they rely on dynamic interplay and experimentation while upholding traditional swing and blues feels. They hope to bring listeners in and make them feel included with both their sensitivity and range of styles.
